Field Reimbursement Manager supporting Outlook Therapeutics' launch of an FDA-approved ophthalmic treatment for wet AMD Responsibilities

• serve as primary reimbursement expert for retina/ophthalmology practices within a designated U.S. territory, providing education on payer coverage, billing, coding, prior authorization, and claims support;
• manage accounts, analyze denial trends, and develop access strategies;
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth patient access;
• monitor policy changes and escalated systemic payer issues.

• 5-10 years experience in reimbursement, market access, or patient services in pharma/biotech, with at least 2 years of field reimbursement experience;
• hands-on buy-and-bill reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payer navigation;
• strong communication skills and proficiency with CRM and Excel;
• ability to travel 50-75%.

• ophthalmology or retina experience, HCPCS/J-code familiarity, product launch support background, relevant certifications (e.g., CPC).

• focus on retinal disease, biologic or injectable therapeutics, U.S. launch readiness, payer landscape analysis, highly regulated environment.

• field-based in the U.S., territory travel required 50-70%.
