Qualifications:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent credential required
  • Previous experience in echocardiography within an acute care or hospital environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound technology
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to new clinical settings quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality imaging and patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic echo cardiographic exams, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold strict patient confidentiality standards
  • Stay current with advances in cardiac ultrasound technology and practice
  • Provide compassionate patient care and education during imaging procedures
