Responsibilities- Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor.
- Cultivate regular guests and repeat business.
- Perform a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable.
- Suggestively sell beverages and menu items to guests at the bar.
- Deliver beverage orders promptly and prioritize drink orders.
- Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abiding by all control systems.
- Record equipment failures and safety hazards in bar log.
- Recognize intoxicated guests and refuse further alcohol service courteously.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and Live Nation policies.
- Request proper identification for anyone under 30.
- Maintain HOB safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties per HOB policy.
- Prepare guest checks on the point‑of‑sales terminal and process payments per Live Nation policy.
- Maintain bartender bank and perform pull/check‑out procedures.
- Maintain appropriate comp and spill checks.
- Occasionally work special events scheduled throughout the venue.
- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.
- Ability to work late hours and a flexible schedule.
- Cash handling experience.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork.
- Physically able to pass a pour test and mixology drill (timed).
- Ability to handle intoxicated guests positively and safely.
- Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
- At least 4 years of work experience in a high‑volume environment.
- Experience recognizing valid IDs.
- Experience in a live music environment.
- Fast‑paced, often loud and stressful environment.
- Extended periods of prolonged standing and working on feet.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
