The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Housekeeping department by leading and developing housekeeping colleagues, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently achieved. This role plays a key part in delivering an excellent hospitality experience expected at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis through quality assurance, team leadership, and exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support housekeeping staff throughout the shift.
- Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure compliance with Hyatt Regency brand standards.
- Ensure rooms are guest‑ready and address any deficiencies prior to guest arrival.
- Monitor room status, prioritize assignments, and communicate updates with the Front Office and other departments.
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to housekeeping colleagues to support performance and development.
- Respond to guest requests and resolve service concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain inventory levels of linens, guest supplies, and cleaning products.
- Assist with scheduling priorities, special projects, deep cleaning initiatives, and department goals.
- Support a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation and guest experience.

Qualifications- A resume must be submitted to be considered.
- Minimum of 1-year hotel experience, preferably in housekeeping.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel operating systems.
- Prior supervisory experience (preferred).
- Flexible availability, including weekend and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
