Public Areas Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas within the hotel. This includes lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and any other areas that are accessible to guests. The role involves a strong focus on attention to detail, guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and maintain public areas, including restrooms, lobbies, corridors, stairways, pool, exercise room and other guest‑facing areas.
- Ensure all public restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and are kept in a clean and sanitized condition.
- Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, plumbing problems) to the maintenance team for resolution.
- Perform daily inspection of public areas and report any cleanliness concerns or hazards.
- Maintain an organized and tidy housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both guests and colleagues.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide friendly, prompt service when needed.
- Work with the housekeeping team to ensure guest satisfaction and exceed cleanliness expectations.

QualificationsPrevious housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
This is a PM position with shifts starting between 2:00pm-4:00pm. Flexible availability is required, including weekends and holidays.
