Job Overview

We are looking for Housekeepers for the Rand Tower Hotel in Minneapolis, part of the Treasury Portfolio. This role ensures guest rooms are clean, safe and welcoming, and provides an opportunity to grow into supervisory or management positions.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness.
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked.
• Use equipment, supplies and guest amenities properly.
• Perform thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas.
• Daily change and inspection of linens and towels, following Green Program standards.
• Practice safety standards and be aware of hazards (e.g., broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, suspicious persons) and report them properly.
• Respect guests’ property at all times.
• Care responsibly for equipment.
• Report to work on time and maintain accurate time records in accordance with posted schedule.
• Remain alert, courteous and helpful to guests and co‑workers.
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor.

• Housekeeping experience desirable.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; detect odors; navigate carts weighing up to 100lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.
• Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.

Base pay: $19.00 – $19.00 per hour.
