Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large, multi-state workforce. Responsibilities:

- Process biweekly payroll for over 1,600 employees

- Manage full-cycle payroll operations, including preparation, calculation, and reconciliation.

- Handle multi-state payroll processing while adhering to state and federal regulations.

- Utilize Ceridian Dayforce to efficiently process payroll and maintain employee records.

- Monitor payroll systems for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and labor regulations.

- Generate payroll reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data at all times.

- Continuously improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably for large organizations.

- Proficiency in full-cycle payroll operations, including reconciliation and reporting.

- Expertise in multi-state payroll systems and compliance requirements.

- Hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar payroll software.

- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and labor standards.

- Ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees efficiently.

- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
