Role Context

This is a key role with a global platform to shape APi’s future, this hire will report to our Chief People Officer and be on this leadership team. The incumbent will define and set inclusion and belonging strategy across all aspects of the business with team members, business leaders, People Team partners, and key stakeholders. The role requires a leader with expertise in inclusion and belonging, capable of creating a shared vision and executing on making that vision a reality.

All the while collaborating across the enterprise and partner to bring inclusion and belonging into everyday work.

This leader assesses our culture and systems, identifying opportunities for us to grow and develop in our ability to consistently provide an inclusive environment where every one of our team members feels like they belong.

What You Will Do
  • Build and execute a multi-year inclusion and belonging strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Elevate and improve our inclusion reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with the People Team, Operations, Safety, and Communications on enterprise-wide integration to ensure programs and systems reflect equity, fairness, consistent with best practices.
  • Serve as enterprise spokesperson for inclusive community engagement.
  • Ensure alignment with Sustainability, ESG, community relations, and external commitments.
Leadership Development & Capability Building
  • Oversee the Intercultural Development Inventory assessments, coaching, and intercultural competence development for leaders.
  • Equip leaders with EQ, conflict navigation skills, and readiness to intervene appropriately.
  • Integrate inclusion and belonging into leadership development, performance practices, and 360s.
Culture and Team Practices
  • Support team member resource groups, culture champions, and team-level belonging initiatives.
  • Build frameworks for psychological safety and inclusive team norms.
  • Support enterprise sponsorship, paired learning and mentorship opportunities for talent development.
Basic Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience in inclusion, anti-racism, equity, civil rights, intercultural leadership, or organizational culture leadership.
  • 3 or more years of experience in inclusion and belonging strategy, culture change, and inclusive leadership.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise transformation.
  • High level of collaboration and creativity bringing inclusion to life in everyday work.
  • Demonstrated ability to build training programs and drive cultural change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in HR through generalist, HR business partner, or related work and/or project experience
  • Certified IDI Qualified Administrator strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work across international teams and diverse cultures.
Benefits and Compensation

This role will be based at our New Brighton office
. The pay range is $140,000-$175,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family. Some benefits include:
