Description Job Purpose

The Human Resources Manager at WPS FRESH is a 100% onsite role. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing many aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that HR operations are a value add to the company through providing support to employees, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day HR functions to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive employee support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
  • Administer workers' compensation programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests and processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and supporting employees through their leave.
Qualifications Required Education
  • High School Diploma
Required Experience
  • 4-6 years of work experience in human resources or a related field
  • Experience in managing day-to-day HR functions and providing employee support
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and workers' compensation
  • Understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requirements
