Human Resources Manager

Description Job Purpose

The Human Resources Manager at WPS FRESH is a 100% onsite role. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing many aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that HR operations are a value add to the company through providing support to employees, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

• Manage day-to-day HR functions to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide comprehensive employee support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
• Administer workers' compensation programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests and processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and supporting employees through their leave.

• High School Diploma

• 4-6 years of work experience in human resources or a related field
• Experience in managing day-to-day HR functions and providing employee support
• Familiarity with payroll processes and workers' compensation
• Understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requirements

• Strong agility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Possess a "figure it out" mindset, with a strong capacity for independent decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and interact with employees
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple HR tasks and responsibilities
