Talent Manager
We're seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support several nonprofit organizations across the Twin Cities. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, relationship‑building, and contributing to mission‑driven work.
What You'll Do- Serve as the primary HR contact for a group of nonprofit agencies
- Create and maintain HR service plans tailored to each organization
- Support annual HR cycles: performance reviews, compensation updates, surveys, and trainings
- Maintain compliant employee handbooks and guide leaders on policy interpretation
- Coach managers on employee relations, progressive discipline, performance management, and documentation
- Conduct or support HR investigations
- Review job descriptions, advise on FLSA classification, and support compliance reporting
- Assist with unemployment claims and hearing preparation
- Hold onsite office hours and attend meetings as needed
- Collaborate with an internal HR team on shared initiatives
- 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 1 year in an HRBP or consulting role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting employee relations or supervising staff
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of HR principles, compliance, and nonprofit environments (preferred)
- Ability to travel throughout the Twin Cities using a personal vehicle
- Commitment to equity and supporting diverse communities
- PHR or SHRM‑CP preferred
- Salary range: $65k-$75k
, depending on experience - Hybrid schedule with a mix of onsite visits and remote work
