Salary:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $71,719 - $99,128, depending on qualifications.
Work Location:
This position is onsite.

Job Duties and Responsibilities- Assist MPD with department goals and strategies by identifying both deficiencies and exceptional performance of staff by reviewing various resources (employment data, police reports, performance reports, Workforce Director, etc.).
- Provide assistance in developing policy and procesure for the EIS program.
- Assist in the development of processes and procedures along with the development of forms.
- Notify and work cooperatively with the EIS Advisory Board, EIS staff, MPD Health and Wellness Coordinator, MPD supervisors, MPD leadership, and other necessary staff on the findings on employees who have been identified with exceptional performance or with issues that could require intervention.
- Advise MPD Police Supervisors and leaders on the track record in employee's file of deficient performance that needs improvement via email or written letters.
- Prepare email or compose letters to employees related to deficient performance that warrants attention and action.
- Assist with the development of objectives and performance measures for department to enable and track performance.
- Analyze performance data, interpret data, compile information and provide recommendations and findings to supervisors and MPD leadership.
- Provide resource information or data to employees (per employee request).
- Provide supervisors and/or employees with confidential resources to help deal with performance issues.
- Facilitate actions designed to address employee issues designed and agreed upon between employee and supervisor.
- Build relationships and partnerships with agencies that can assist MPD personnel with training needs to correct deficient performance.
- Provide resources to help employees to achieve optimum performance within MPD standards.
- Utilize statistical knowledge and project management skills in data management and analysis.
- Maintain databases along with data stores.
- Create reports through the use of various software programs:
Workforce Director, Practice Manager, Tableau, Visinet and other interface software as needed. - Support information architects to enhance program through dashboards and interfaces.
- Act as a statistical reference and consultant to MPD and the community.
- Special research projects, including gathering, compiling and analyzing information; provides alternatives and makes recommendations on courses of actions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counseling or equivalent
MINUMUM EXPERIENCE:
Four years of related experience.
