Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Director of Compensation (Contract)

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Compensation Analyst (Contractor) to provide senior-level compensation expertise and hands‑on support to our Compensation Leader during a period of intensive strategic work. This role will independently manage executive and broad‑based compensation activities, incentive plan design, market pricing, job evaluation, and compensation governance across the U.S.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, exceptional analytical skills, crisp judgment, and a proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced environment. Given the nature and scope of this engagement, previous executive compensation experience and hands‑on compensation design experience are the top priorities for this role.

Executive Compensation
  • Conduct benchmarking, competitive analyses, and internal equity reviews for executive and near‑executive roles.
  • Prepare leadership‑ready materials and support compensation recommendations.
Incentive Plan Design
  • Design and/or refine Variable Incentive Plans (VIP) and Sales Incentive Plans (SIP).
  • Build costing and performance models; draft plan documents and governance guidelines.
Market Pricing & Benchmarking
  • Perform job matching, market pricing, and pay range analysis using multiple survey sources.
  • Support survey submission strategy and maintain market reference architecture.
Job Evaluation & Architecture
  • Review job descriptions, level roles to the future state job architecture, and provide slotting and titling recommendations.
  • Support career framework consistency and pay equity guardrails.
Regulatory & Compliance
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise on federal, state, and local compensation requirements (e.g., pay transparency, FLSA).
  • Ensure compensation processes and documentation meet audit and compliance standards.
Compensation Tools, Data & Process Improvement
  • Partner with the Compensation Leader to enhance compensation tools, templates, pricing models, and workflows.
  • Develop user‑friendly resources for HRBPs, TA, and business leaders.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders.
  • Communicate complex compensation concepts in clear, concise, and actionable ways.

120 hours of accrued PTO plus a 401K plan with a 3% company contribution.
