As a Staffing Consultant, you will identify, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles. This full-cycle recruiting role covers sourcing to placement. Your daily tasks include engaging with candidates by phone, email, or in person; coaching them through resume editing, interview preparation and post-interview follow-up; collaborating with your team on open positions; posting job ads; and utilizing online sourcing tools.
YOURDAY
- Identify prospective candidates via job board search tools, Linked In, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
- Interview prospective candidates.
- Prep candidates for client interviews—review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews.
- Deliver good news and manage the offer process.
- Check in with candidates on assignment to ensure they have everything they need.
- Execute proactive cold calling to identify new candidates.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- A love for working with people.
