Job Title

Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Overview

The Talent and Engagement (T&E) division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is hiring a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator. The HR Coordinator position plays a vital role in providing functional support to the T&E team and contributing to the delivery of people focused solutions and services to Bank employees. This position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills to deliver high-quality transactional support that enhances business value and fosters a positive, people-centered culture.

In this role, you will support programs across all HR disciplines as well as various enterprise-wide initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Processing confidential information and performing activities throughout the employee lifecycle - such as recruiting, onboarding, retention, employee engagement, and offboarding
  • Supporting HRIS/Workday transactions, serving as a Content Editor for the internal intranet, and coordinating engagement activities.
  • Providing functional support to T&E staff and employees on HR related activities and matters throughout the division.
  • Supporting the accurate and timely processing of key transactions such employee onboarding and background screening for the organization.
  • Performing receptionist duties, including receiving and responding to employees, visitors and phone calls.
  • Coordinating and supporting special projects as directed, including Bank-wide events and activities.
  • Handling sensitive information.
  • Updating and maintaining databases and intranet content.
  • Complying with and following established business and department policies, procedures and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using PC/software applications.
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Proven dependability, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask, solve complex problems, communicate effectively, and model the company's core values and culture.
  • Ability to lift/carry 10 pounds.
  • Balancing, reconciling, and/or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Experience in the HR disciplines a plus.
  • Advanced HR training and/or certification a plus.
Benefits and Compensation
  • The full salary range is $47,200-$58,984-$70,800.
  • The expected starting salary range is $53,000-$60,000.
  • Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
