The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the Direct business. This role partners with management to drive business results through effective people strategies while providing support across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, organizational development, employee engagement, compensation, HRIS management and workforce planning. The HRBP combines strategic partnership with operational execution, ensuring HR and processes are delivered effectively while maintaining compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and organizational objectives.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Business Partnership & Employee Relations
  • Partner with leaders to support organizational effectiveness, talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Provide business-driven HR consultation and coaching to leaders on performance management, employee relations, staffing strategies, change management, and employment-related matters.
  • Investigate, document, and help resolve employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Provide guidance on HR initiatives, workforce trends, and people-related business decisions.
  • Partner with local and remote management to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Support recruiting efforts through partnership with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers.
  • Support new hire and termination processes, including required documentation, background checks, system transactions, orientations, and exit processes.
  • HR Programs & Processes
  • Support the implementation and administration of HR programs, including:
    Performance management Investigations Employee recognition programs Learning and development initiatives Employee engagement activities Support all activities related to the annual People Cycle process, including project planning and communication.
  • HR Operations & Systems
  • Maintain and manage HRIS data integrity through timely processing of personnel transactions.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc HR reports to support business and HR decision-making.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and trends, including turnover, engagement, recruiting, and retention data, to provide recommendations that support business objectives.
  • Ensure personnel files, I-9 documentation, job descriptions, interview guides, and other required records remain accurate and compliant.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and efficiencies.
  • Compliance & Collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment practices, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Partner with North America HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency of HR programs and practices.
  • Collaborate with vendors, staffing agencies, credentialing organizations, legal partners, and external service providers as needed.
  • Participate in HR forums, special projects, and policy development initiatives.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders throughout the business.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling employee data, sensitive information, and business matters.
  • Travel domestically up to 5-10%, as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of HR generalist experience
  • Proven track record of partnering at all levels within an organization
  • Proficiency in MS office programs
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR desired
  • DME or Healthcare Industry experience
  • Experience supporting non exempt populations
  • PHR/SHRM-CP Certification

Compensation Range for this position is $ 77,575 - $ 116,363. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
