Location: Remote (preferred to be local to Minneapolis for on-site collaboration sessions)

Duration: 6-month contract with potential for conversion or extension

Compensation: $55-65/hr based one experience

Job Description

Insight Global's financial services client is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader, guiding Agile teams in effective delivery and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and drive high‑quality product outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple teams or large, complex initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
    Master’s preferred
  • 4–6 years leading projects or scrum teams; 3+ years as a Scrum Master
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles, and software development practices
  • Experience with SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and complex stakeholder relationships
  • Experience with risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
  • Strong leadership skills across cross‑functional teams
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
  • Financial management experience supporting budgets and ROI
Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach teams in Scrum and Agile best practices
  • Support Product Owners with backlog prioritization, roadmap alignment, and release planning
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure transparency in team progress
  • Drive delivery across multiple Agile teams or large initiatives
  • Remove impediments and maintain focus on value delivery
  • Foster collaboration, self‑organization, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate progress, risks, and metrics to senior leadership
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Build strong working relationships with business and technology partners
  • Contribute to enterprise Agile maturity and best‑practice sharing
