IT Project Manager

Overview

This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of technology initiatives that support business objectives. The IT Project Manager partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable plans and coordinates internal and external resources to deliver solutions on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. The position requires strong execution skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

• Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end delivery of assigned technology initiatives
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate and facilitate project governance forums, including working groups and steering committees
• Monitor and report on project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial health
• Develop and execute detailed communication plans, milestones, and status reporting
• Support organizational change efforts associated with technology implementations
• Identify, document, and manage project dependencies, ensuring critical path alignment
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Coordinate activities across internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and execution

• 5+ years of project management experience within a technology, IT, or software delivery environment
• Prior experience in financial services, investment management, or similar regulated industries preferred
• Proven ability to manage external vendors and service providers
• Experience leading projects across multiple time zones and geographic locations
• Strong track record of partnering with and influencing stakeholders at various organizational levels
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies preferred
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• High attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader business objectives
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and willingness to be hands-on when needed
