Pride Health is seeking a Principal IT Auditor - High Performance Computing (HPC) for a major public research university in Minneapolis, MN.

Project Overview:

• Audit of Supercomputing Institute (Supercomputer/High Performance Computing environment).
• Two-phased initiative:
• Scoping Phase:
• Scope is not fully defined.
• Auditor will conduct deep-dive interviews and discussions with leadership to determine audit scope.
• Expected to independently assess responsibility areas and shape the audit approach.
• Execution & Reporting Phase:
• Perform audit, assess risks, document findings, and generate reports.
• Operate as part of the internal audit team while educating and collaborating with existing staff.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of IT audit experience required.
• Experience in: HIPAA, Research environments, High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Familiarity with:
  Linux (HPC environments), Infini Band, Slurm
• Regulatory/Compliance frameworks: NIST SP 800-171, CMMC (relevant for DoD/federal research grants), HIPAA
• Operate independently while collaborating closely with internal audit leadership.
• Help define audit scope where none is fully established.
• Assess risk, document findings, and produce audit reports.
• Report directly to Manager and work alongside another Principal/Chief IT Auditor.
