Associate Consultant roles at SPS Commerce are designed for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working with technology, and partnering closely with customers to deliver successful outcomes. In this role, you’ll support the implementation of SPS solutions by configuring systems, testing data flows, and helping customers get up and running smoothly.

You’ll be part of our Customer Success organization and work alongside experienced consultants and project managers who support your learning and development. While specific projects may vary, all Associate Consultants share the same focus: delivering high-quality implementations, staying organized, and building the technical and communication skills needed to grow in a consulting career.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the technical implementation of SPS products, including system configuration and testing
  • Partner with customers to understand operational needs and confirm implementation requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful implementations
  • Track project progress, manage tasks, and communicate status updates to customers and internal partners
  • Build and maintain working knowledge of retailer requirements, industry standards, and SPS solutions
  • Train customers on product usage, best practices, and partner compliance
Location

This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office presence required at our Minneapolis office.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and interest in learning new systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with XML or structured data formats
  • Exposure to technical, systems, or project-based work through internships, coursework, or prior roles
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts or electronic data interchange (EDI)
  • Experience working with customers or cross-functional teams

The annual salary range for this role is: $50,. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
