Senior Project Manager

Minneapolis–Saint Paul (South Metro) | Hybrid (1–2 days onsite: Tues/Thurs)

Our client is seeking a Senior PM/Scrum Master to drive planning, coordination, and execution across key data initiatives. In this role, you'll bring clarity, organization, and momentum to a fast‑moving Data Engineering environment, keeping delivery on track and stakeholders aligned.

• Lead planning, prioritization, and sequencing of Data team work streams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies as the team’s Scrum Master.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with leadership and cross‑functional partners.
• Drive accountability, timelines, and delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Partner with Data Engineering leaders to align on business priorities.
• Identify blockers, resolve issues, and create clarity amid ambiguity.
• Advocate for the Data team and proactively keep initiatives moving forward.
• Collaborate with Project Operations, engineering teams, and other cross‑functional groups.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master.
• Prior experience supporting Data Engineering, BI, or analytics teams.
• Strong ability to juggle complex work streams and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, upward, and downward).
• Highly organized with strong leadership presence and ability to influence.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid, fast‑paced environment.

• Experience in mortgage or financial services.
• Consulting background.
• Understanding of modern data platforms or data engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure, analytics tooling, or cloud‑based data environments.
