The Infrastructure Security Team is responsible for the security and risk management of the AWS Infrastructure. We build systems that detect, assess, and mitigate risk across the global infrastructure and are accountable for keeping the Amazon Infrastructure secure and compliant with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development, assessment, and analysis of security outcomes for AWS Infrastructure (networking, supply chain security and data center compliance) in accordance with NIST, FedRAMP, ISO, and AWS standards.
- Lead in the development of monitoring and reporting capabilities for continued security compliance.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- 1+ year of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
