A rapidly growing, acquisition-driven organization in the Utility Services Industry is seeking a strategic and operationally disciplined Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead enterprise technology, data, cybersecurity, and analytics across a dispersed operating environment. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, the CIO will play a critical role in strengthening enterprise systems, enabling scalable M&A growth, and transforming data into a true competitive advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Enterprise IT Strategy & Governance- Align technology strategy with business and private equity value creation goals
- Drive disciplined prioritization, governance, and financial stewardship
- Translate technical risk into clear business insight for executive decision‑making
- Strengthen ERP/CRM environments to ensure performance, adoption, and continuity
- Modernize legacy infrastructure through pragmatic cloud and hybrid strategies
- Design scalable, secure enterprise architecture
- Build a governed, enterprise‑wide data and analytics strategy (Azure, Power BI)
- Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, dashboards, and predictive insights
- Develop a clear AI roadmap with governance and measurable adoption outcomes
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and risk framework
- Ensure secure, resilient, and auditable systems
- Develop repeatable due diligence and integration playbooks
- Lead system rationalization and data unification post‑acquisition
Required
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience stabilizing and scaling complex enterprise environments
- Oracle or similar ERP experience with Salesforce integrations
- Experience managing $40M+ budgets
- Private equity and/or public company experience preferred
- Experience with Pre‑IPO organizations a plus
- Strong foundation in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance
- Track record of leading multi‑year transformation initiatives
- Executive presence with the ability to influence non‑technical stakeholders
- High emotional intelligence and strong change leadership capability
