Position: Network Engineer (L2)

Primary skills: Cisco Routing & Switching, WAP, VPN, WLC, Cisco ACI+
Secondary skills: Juniper Routing and Switching.

Qualifications:

  • Min 5 years of Network administration experience in large enterprise environment.
  • Should have Cisco and other industry standard networking certifications.
  • Extensive experience in System Fault Tolerance, Networking Designing, Business continuity and Disaster recovery.
  • Expertise in the analysis, implementation, troubleshooting & documentation of LAN/WAN architecture and good experience on IP services.
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
  • Experience in representation in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • In depth understanding and troubleshooting skills for data centers Technologies (vPC, VDC, OTV, FEX).
  • Expert level knowledge of troubleshooting, implementing, optimizing and testing of static and dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and ability to interpret and resolve complex route table problems.
  • Excellent hands-on experience on Cisco & Juniper devices (Routers, Switches L2/L3, Firewalls etc.).
  • Excellent hands-on in Cisco & Juniper Mist WLC/Access point.
  • Handling escalated troubleshooting calls related to Routing, Switching, Wireless, Firewalls & VPN.
  • Excellent hands-on experience on Cisco Nexus Series of switches, Juniper SRX series & Checkpoint.
  • Excellent hands-on experience on Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco and Juniper Mist.
  • Excellent hands-on experience on WAN Acceleration/optimization Riverbed.
  • Network Management tools – Solar Winds, Thousand Eyes, Splunk etc. or any other related tools.
  • Application Load balancers F5 Big IP LTM/GTM or any other related tools.
  • Hands-on experience of implementing & Troubleshooting of Infoblox solutions such as IPAM/DHCP/DNS/vDiscovery.
  • Hands-on Experience on DHCP scope creation, DHCP option management understanding about servers, and windows platform.
  • Should have Experience in designing POA for complex Change/Project, knowledge in preparing RFO, RCA's, documentation, Knowledge Bank.
  • Experience in AWS or AZURE or any cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
