Xcel Energy is seeking a skilled and motivated Enterprise Applications Business Analyst to support the Upgrade Power Plan (BSPRJ
001983) and Account Reconciliation (BSPRJ
001750) initiatives as part of the S4 program implementation and integrations. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting the implementation of enterprise business systems. The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and validated through comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate has strong experience delivering enterprise IT applications (on-prem or SaaS), excels at requirements elicitation and testing documentation, and brings a proactive, positive approach to a transformational program environment.

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to analyze, design, implement, and modify enterprise applications.
• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure full validation coverage.
• Create detailed test scenarios and test scripts aligned to documented requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a master test strategy.
• Identify and resolve interface and system integration issues.
• Act as primary liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide task‑level status updates to project management and delivery leadership.
• Support enterprise financial system implementations, including integrations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise application deployments (on‑premise and/or SaaS).
• Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements and translating them into functional documentation.
• Strong experience creating test scripts and supporting UAT.
• Experience developing or contributing to a master test strategy.
• Experience working closely with both business stakeholders and IT technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate timelines and consistently meet target dates.

• Experience supporting financial systems or corporate finance processes.
• Knowledge of SAP Financials and/or Power Plan.
• Experience supporting ERP or large enterprise transformation programs.
• Experience in utility or regulated industries (not required).

• Hybrid schedule (Tuesday–Thursday in office).
