Technical Analyst

Hybrid | Minneapolis–St. Paul Metro (MN) or Madison (WI)

40 hours/week | Contract-to-Hire | 3 days onsite (Tues–Thurs)

A leading organization in the healthcare digital space is seeking a Technical Analyst / Mid Level Product Owner to support a high-visibility member-facing digital ecosystem. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone eager to grow into a Product Owner path while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role is ideal for someone with ~3 years of experience who is technically curious, analytically strong, and proactive in owning work from end to end.

• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering (API + full-stack), and QA teams to support a member portal and broader digital ecosystem.
• Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements from front-end through API/data layers.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation to unblock developers.
• Support and help manage a fully functioning CMS (owning content inputs and digital offerings).
• Contribute to product discovery efforts including user feedback, analytics review, and market research.
• Identify improvement opportunities and proactively pull work to relieve the Product Owner.
• Support initiatives focused on digital self-service, personalization, and enhanced user experience.

• ~3 years as a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience documenting user stories and gathering requirements.
• Comfort working across front-end experiences and backend/API integrations (no coding required, but must understand how systems connect).
• Experience collaborating closely with developers and QA.

• Solid understanding of APIs and how data flows between systems and user interfaces.
• Product thinking mindset — able to connect customer needs, analytics, and business goals.
• Data-oriented and analytically rigorous (comfortable interpreting insights and metrics).

• Proactive and gritty — someone who inserts themselves and pulls work rather than waiting.
• Engaging, collaborative, and confident speaking up in meetings.
• Ownership mentality with strong follow-through.
• Curious, coachable, and eager to grow.

• Healthcare or insurance industry exposure (not required).
• Experience with customer feedback loops, user testing, or digital containment strategies.
• Exposure to CMS management or content ownership.
• Hybrid:
  Tuesday–Thursday onsite in Minneapolis–St. Paul metro or Madison, WI.
• Contract-to-hire (must be eligible and interested in converting to full-time).
• Two rounds of interviews (potential third).

This is a growth-oriented opportunity within a collaborative digital product team focused on innovation, personalization, and improving user experience  right candidate will gain exposure to full product lifecycle work and have a clear pathway toward a Product Owner track.

Pay rate range of $38 - 46/hourly on W2, plus health, vision, dental and 401k eligibility.
