Summary

The Security Systems Specialist position will support the Risk Management department by providing assistance with response, support, and tuning of enterprise security systems. This dynamic position will respond to security events and threats, support the mobile device management solution, and assist with all risk‑related onboarding and offboarding administrative duties for the firm. Ideal candidate is highly motivated to learn with a keen eye for attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and follow directions with complete accuracy.

Required Education & Experience
  • Associate's degree in computer science, MIS, Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of enterprise level experience in Information Technology with 1 year of security focused duties.
  • Mid‑level knowledge through education, experience, or certification of enterprise security tools, Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, WAN, LAN technologies.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance standards such as ISO and HIPAA.
Essential Functions
  • Monitor Network Activity & Respond to Security Events & Threats (60%)
    • In partnership with the Security Systems Analyst, monitor user and network activity to identify vulnerable points and address them in a timely manner.
    • Respond to security events, tickets, threats, and malicious requests.
    • Continually monitor and provide information to the Risk Department on event alerts, system performance, and responses to security concerns.
  • Administrative Onboarding & Offboarding (20%)
    • Perform all Risk related onboarding and offboarding duties.
  • Support Mobile Device Management Solution (10%)
    • Engage with end users and management on mobile device needs and enrollment.
  • Centralized Systems Management (10%)
    • Investigate and audit existing systems and controls for improved performance and capacities.
