Technical Program Manager II, Infrastructure Security Compliance

Overview

Technical Program Manager II, Infrastructure Security Compliance  Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure to ensure continual access to services. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating across AWS to improve safety, security, and cost efficiency. This role emphasizes owning initiatives and delivering solutions with a focus on risk-based decision making across complex programs.

• Manage campaigns and initiatives to improve the security posture of the AWS infrastructure.
• Leverage relationships with device owners, network and infrastructure engineers, and leaders across AWS to prioritize deliverables, escalate roadblocks, and improve processes.
• Build trust with software developers and security engineers by applying technical knowledge to understand challenges, design improved solutions, and drive better outcomes for customers.
• Champion and drive risk-based decisions across multi-disciplinary programs to ensure AWS properly manages risk to infrastructure.

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and critical path
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams
• Experience leading complex, large-scale IT or engineering programs
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
