AWS delivers this expertise through three layers of the AI stack: frameworks and infrastructure (e.g., Apache MXNet, Tensor Flow), machine‑learning platforms such as Amazon Sage Maker, and API‑driven services like Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Lex, Amazon Kendra, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Comprehend, and Amazon Rekognition.

AWS is looking for a Machine Learning Solutions Architect (ML SA) who will serve as the subject‑matter expert for helping customers across the Americas design solutions that leverage AWS ML services. You will work closely with customers in industry verticals such as Financial Services, Media, Manufacturing, Technology, Health Care, and Retail. Your role includes designing large‑scale machine‑learning pipelines, driving adoption of AWS for AI/ML platforms, developing white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations, and providing customer‑derived product feedback to the service teams.

Your primary responsibilities are:

• Work with customers’ development and data‑science teams to deeply understand their business and technical needs, then design solutions that use AWS cloud and AWS AI/ML services such as Sage Maker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Rekognition, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Quick, and Amazon Personalize.
• Partner with Solutions Architects, sales, business development, and AI/ML service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment across the Americas.
• Serve as a thought leader by evangelizing AWS ML services, sharing best practices through AWS blogs, white papers, reference architectures, and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit and re:
  
  Invent.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers and AWS service teams to provide customer‑driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an internal community of GenAI subject‑matter experts in the Americas.

Location and travel:
You may work out of any of the following cities:
San Jose, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Arlington. Travel up to 50% across the USA may be required.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive‑level stakeholders.
• Experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS.

Base salary ranges from $153,600 to $239,000 USD annually across locations, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Compensation includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
