Job Description

Wipro Limited looks for a data engineer with experience and skills specified below.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database design, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS tools and technologies (S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, Redshift, RDS, Spectrum, Airflow).
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of data storage and processing technologies, including databases and data lakes, and distributed computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Nice to have:
  Informatica Cloud experience (IDMC).

• Design and implement data integration workflows using AWS Glue/EMR, MWAA Airflow, Lambda, and Redshift.
• Process large datasets using Pyspark, Apache Spark, and Python.
• Ensure accurate and efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data into target systems.
• Validate and cleanse data to maintain high data quality.
• Implement monitoring, validation, and error‑handling mechanisms within data pipelines.
• Optimize data workflows to meet SLAs, scalability, and cost‑efficiency on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, fine‑tune queries, and optimize Redshift performance.
• Review and refine integration processes regularly to improve efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and coded data pipelines.
• Ensure timely availability of integrated data for business intelligence and analytics.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to meet their data requirements.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, depending on location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and experience.
