Disaster Recovery Architect
Summary
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Disaster Recovery Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide recovery frameworks across diverse technology environments. This role is pivotal in safeguarding business continuity by shaping resilient architectures, documenting recovery protocols, and ensuring readiness across all mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a comprehensive governance model for disaster recovery including standardized documentation and testing cadence.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align recovery strategies with business priorities and compliance mandates.
- Architect and document recovery plans for hybrid environments, spanning on-prem, Cloud, and SaaS platforms.
- Define and validate Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) for essential systems.
- Continuously assess and enhance DR strategies to close gaps and improve resilience.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact evaluations to identify vulnerabilities in our current recovery posture.
- Propose actionable mitigation strategies to strengthen recovery capabilities.
- Engage closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and third-party service teams to ensure DR plans are executable and aligned with operational realities.
- Serve as a key advisor during audits, incident response planning, and continuity testing.
