Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
- Establish and operationalize Medallion Architecture patterns.
- Drive adoption of Data Mesh principles.
- Define and enforce enterprise data standards.
- Serve as the technical authority on Fabric capabilities.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise/cloud strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and improve architecture patterns.
- Design pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, and Informatica.
- Develop ELT/ETL frameworks and patterns across the ingestion tools.
- Optimize pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
- Integrate data across MSSQL and Oracle systems.
- Mentor engineers and enforce governance standards.
- 8+ years in data engineering or architecture.
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Microsoft Fabric (Medallion Architecture, Data Mesh)
- Fabric Data Factory & Azure Data Factory
- Experience with enterprise-scale Fabric implementations.
- Knowledge of data governance and lifecycle management.
- Experience in construction or project-based industries.
