Position: PRODUCT MANAGER L2

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to understand customer needs and develop specific products to solve their problems, supporting delivery managers in client servicing.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the customer’s needs
    • Deeply understand client requirements by interacting with them.
    • Coordinate with the pre‑sales team to understand RFP details.
    • Draft and document user stories with business analysts.
    • Analyze the client’s business/process problem and identify solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce cost, time, and manpower.
    • Identify touch points while understanding the business/process value stream.
    • Share requirements and documents with developers; discuss solution options.
    • Create a product vision and roadmap, ensuring adherence.
    • Prepare a package of solutions or proof of concept for customer approval.
  • Design and develop the product solution
    • Create product architecture and roadmap with technical architects; monitor progress.
    • Collaborate with UX and UI teams on the product look and feel.
    • Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes; maintain a defect database.
    • Work with Dev Ops for production and seamless code movement.
    • Create test cases and perform development testing.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing at Wipro’s environment.
    • Test in client’s environment and obtain final sign‑off.
    • Design execution reporting dashboard to show progress.
    • Perform impact analysis at client site and support incremental changes.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain database backup/restore scripts; test procedures.
  • Team Management
    • Resourcing
      • Forecast talent requirements based on current and future needs.
      • Hire adequate and right resources.
      • Train direct reports to make appropriate recruitment decisions.
    • Talent Management
      • Ensure 100% compliance with onboarding and training standards.
    • Build an internal talent pool of high‑potential employees and ensure career progression.
      • Promote diversity in leadership positions.
    • Performance Management
      • Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and give constructive feedback.
      • Address performance issues with zero tolerance for misconduct.
      • Encourage participation in organization programs.
    • Employee Satisfaction and Engagement
      • Lead and drive engagement initiatives.
      • Track satisfaction scores and devise initiatives.
      • Challenge the team with larger projects.
      • Exercise employee recognition and appreciation.
Performance Delivery
  • Timeliness of delivery – 100% error‑free onboarding & implementation, throughput, adherence to schedule.
  • Quality & CSAT – on‑time delivery, query troubleshooting, customer experience, reference, reusable product.
  • IP Creation – writing whitepapers, knowledge transfer, number of IPs created.
  • Team Management – % trained on new skills, attrition %, employee satisfaction score (ESAT), knowledge sessions, certifications.
Qualifications and Compensation
  • Mandatory

    Skills:

    AI Modernization Consulting.
  • Experience:

    >10 years.
  • Compensation range: $100,000 to $185,000, dependent on location, wage obligations, skills, and experience.
  • Eligible for standard medical, dental, disability insurance, paid time off, and other benefits. Drug screening may be required.
