The Relay Financial Systems and Risk Management organization in Middle Mile Transportation Technology (MMPT) is innovating distributed systems with machine learning to deliver next‑generation fraud prevention solutions. Our systems are secure, reliable, available, and scalable.
In this role, you will partner with Product and Tech leaders to develop sophisticated risk models, ensure proactive risk management, and collaborate on metrics, tools, standard operating procedures, and other essential components to drive operational excellence.
Ideal candidates demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, a data‑driven mindset, and the ability to manage stakeholders while earning the trust of carrier partners. Collaboration and autonomy are essential for success.
Key Job Responsibilities- Assist stakeholders with identifying and managing potential risks that could impact strategic objectives.
- Apply a risk management framework to Amazon transportation programs and influence the product landscape for audit and controls.
- Identify and address gaps in risk coverage through data analysis and awareness of emerging risks.
- Collaborate to continuously improve metrics, tools, methodologies, and SOPs, driving excellence in all aspects of operations.
- Lead and support teams in responding to, investigating, managing, and resolving high‑impact incidents and escalations.
- Analyze existing policy and process gaps and develop solutions to close them.
- Own and manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency, accessing and analyzing data and working extensively with external teams.
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Experience with SQL and Excel.
- 2+ years developing, validating, and improving risk models related to transactional or transportation risks, preferably in logistics, e‑commerce, or financial services.
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data/metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
- Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence related to emerging threats. Ability to integrate threat intelligence into risk assessment processes and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Base salary range: 74,200.00 – USD annually (USA, MN, Minneapolis). Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units, and benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
