About The Team The Cybersecurity Manager leads a team of security engineers responsible for protecting Solifi’s infrastructure, applications, and data assets. The Cybersecurity Manager will be working cross-functionally with IT, SaaS and Hosting, and Engineering teams.

About the Position The Cybersecurity Manager leads and grows a team of security engineers responsible for protecting Solifi’s infrastructure, applications, and data assets. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with people management, driving the organization’s security architecture, incident response capabilities, and risk management strategy. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert across cloud security, threat detection, and security operations while mentoring team members and aligning security initiatives with business objectives.

Role

and Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security engineers, fostering professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development within the security engineering team.
  • Establish team goals and KPIs that align with organizational security objectives and business priorities.
Security Architecture & Engineering
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architecture across cloud and on‑premises environments.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to build and maintain Secure SDLC processes and procedures to ensure Secure by Design principles.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of security tooling including SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB, Email Security, Asset and Patch Management, vulnerability management, and identity & access management solutions.
  • Drive security tools migration and merge security processes and procedures.
  • Drive automation of security processes through scripting (Power Shell, Python) and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies that strengthen the organization’s defensive posture.
Incident Response & Threat Management
  • Serve as Incident Commander during security incidents, coordinating cross‑functional response efforts and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, runbooks, and tabletop exercises.
  • Conduct post‑incident reviews to identify root causes and drive remediation actions.
  • Oversee threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and proactive threat hunting activities.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Perform security risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies.
  • Support audit and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., SSAE‑18 SOC1, SOC2, ISO‑27001, NIST, OWASP, SANS).
  • Provide regular security posture reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with IT, engineering, legal, and business teams to embed security into all aspects of operations.
  • Participate in security‑related meetings with prospects, clients and vendors.
About You

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or security engineering, with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
