Act as a trusted advisor and integrated architecture support for our delivery teams, guiding clients on solution delivery and designing cutting‑edge Appian solutions that fit their unique needs.

• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, Dev Sec Ops , and program initiatives.
• Collaborate with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver tailored solutions.
• Coach implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies.
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
• Integrate multi‑tier architecture via integrations and system configuration.
• Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back‑office implementations.
• Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Mentor, train, and enable resources.

• 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 6+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Active Appian Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery.
• Strong technical implementation and database design skills.
• Experience evaluating and resolving security issues found during system testing.
• Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
• Experience implementing Cloud, On‑Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts plainly.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area.
• U.S. Citizen required.
• Willingness to travel 0‑15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX.

• RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Authentication (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
• Web services, integrations, and middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
• Cloud Computing/IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Source Control (Git, SVN, CVS).
• Software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
