Database Administrator (Oracle)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Pay: $60-70/hr W2 ONLY - NO C2C

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, performance engineering, and experience with Oracle migrations. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage large-scale database environments and contribute to continuous performance improvements across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and optimize Oracle database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Lead and support database performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives.
• Execute Oracle migration strategies and support complex data migration projects.
• Administer database systems including upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
• Support Golden Gate configuration and migration efforts for real-time replication and data integration projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, working closely with application and infrastructure teams.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, processes, and best practices.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all database environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration – Required
• 6+ years of experience in Performance Engineering – Required
• 6+ years of experience in Oracle Migration – Preferred
• 4–6 years of experience with Oracle Golden Gate Configuration – Preferred
• 4–6 years of experience with Oracle Golden Gate Migration – Preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud)
• Familiarity with other database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of automation/scripting tools for database operations
• Experience working in Dev Ops or CI/CD environments
