Overview
Partner with assigned Line of Business, Risk/Compliance/Audit professionals, and Managers to create, implement, maintain, review, or oversee an effective risk management framework and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct segmentation testing of network environments to ensure strict compliance with PCI DSS requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting testing results, vulnerabilities, and recommended remediation steps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to address segmentation issues and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to PCI DSS standards through continuous monitoring and testing.
- Create and refine segmentation testing procedures and methodologies.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in PCI DSS standards, security technologies, and best practices.
- Identify gaps and provide solutions that minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
- Respond to, and if appropriate, elevate risks.
- Serve as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- More than eight years of applicable experience.
- Proficient with Linux command line scripting.
- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business.
- Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.
- Strong analytical, process facilitation, and project management skills.
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using Microsoft Office and other software packages.
- Applicable professional certifications.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
