The Middle Mile Transportation Technology organization builds complex software solutions that work across vendors, warehouses, and carriers to optimize both time and cost of getting packages delivered. With rapid expansion into new geographies and innovations in supply chain, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence product roadmaps and cut billions of dollars in transportation costs.
Risk Analysts play a key role in identifying, interpreting, transforming, and disseminating intelligence critical to protecting Amazon customers and partners from fraudulent actors. They provide teams with information about threats, vulnerabilities, and changes in actor activity, intent, and resources.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, analyze, process, and distribute finished intelligence.
- Gather intelligence from multiple sources and coordinate with teams to provide actionable insights.
- Process incoming information, reports, and messages to determine significance and reliability.
- Investigate new vulnerabilities and translate findings into actionable intelligence.
- Prepare all‑source intelligence products and maintain systematic, cross‑reference intelligence records.
- Integrate incoming information with current investigations and intelligence streams.
- Prioritize work, communicate clearly, and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivery.
- Act as a proactive self‑starter, removing roadblocks and influencing stakeholders worldwide.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience performing open source research on a variety of topics.
- Proven ability to investigate complex, highly technical problems and perform root cause analysis.
- 4‑year degree related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Foreign Studies, Finance, Investigative Journalism, or similar fields.
- Experience investigating fraud, abuse, and e‑crime.
- Familiarity with foreign‑language media sources, both traditional and non‑traditional.
- Multilingual, with preference for Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or Japanese.
- High level of integrity and discretion for handling confidential information.
Location:
United States, MN, Minneapolis – USD 55,600 to 97,400 annually.
Base salary range is listed below.
