Product Designer
The pay range is $17.98 - $. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As a Product Designer, you'll support our purpose to help all families discover the joy of everyday life by bringing that to life across , Target apps and internal solutions that Target's employees & partners use on a daily basis by designing new digital retail experiences and the evolution of existing ones. You'll be well-positioned to make an impact as a member of a nimble, friendly and high-performing team operating at the heart of Target's growing digital business.
You'll support the full design process, from discovery and testing to handoff and quality assurance. You'll contribute to design deliverables with support from more senior product designers, including visual design and flows that are intuitive, elegant and provide value for our guests while accounting for a variety of scenarios. Leverage your ability to step back from interface design to think through guest tasks or journeys in terms of structure and information architecture.
You'll advocate for consistency and restraint by actively utilizing and contributing to our design system.
You'll partner and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of UX designers, UX writers, engineers, product managers, QA staff, accessibility consultants, data analysts and UX researchers. Through this partnership, you'll learn to leverage data and guest insights to inform design decisions. You'll participate in guest research and learn to conduct your own with leadership from our UX research team. You'll partner with other teams across Target (apps, marketing, pricing & promotions, item, etc) to ensure cohesiveness in the guest experience.

About you:
- 1+ years' experience in digital software product work, with user experience emphases in research, UX architecture, interaction design and/or visual design
- Bachelor's degree with focus on User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- A portfolio featuring product design work
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern design and prototyping tools (such as Sketch and InVision)
- Awareness of data and research methodologies and ability to partner with research experts
