Job Description:
- Overall 13+ Years experience and a Minimum 3+Years exp in Snowflake and cloud-based data warehouse, should have worked as an architect for at least 3 years.
- Experience in data integration activities including architecting, designing, coding, and testing phases.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, UDF's, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Big Data model techniques using Snowpark python/Java/Scala.
- Experience in processing unstructured and Geospatial data in Snowflake using Directory Tables, External Tables
- Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel, Configuring Virtual Warehouses, Multi-tenancy, Life cycle management, SSO and understand how to use these features
- Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house, data mess patterns.
- Knowledge of data modeling principles. Deep understanding of relational as well as No
SQL data store s, methods, and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling) - Handled processing of AI/ML workloads using Snowflake
- Experience with Integration with Azure/AWS ecosystem.
- Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning and troubleshoot.
- Understanding of data transformation and translation requirements and suggest tools to leverage to get the job done.
- Experience in handling large volume of data, migration from on-prem to Cloud and muti-tenant support on Snowflake and Cloud platform
- Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipelines using cloud-based implementation and testing and clearly document the requirements to create technical and functional specs.
