Job Summary
Surescripts serves the nation through simpler, trusted health intelligence sharing, in order to increase patient safety, lower costs and ensure quality care. We deliver insights at critical points of care for better decisions — from streamlining prior authorizations to delivering comprehensive medication histories to facilitating messages between providers.
Responsibilities- Assessing and monitoring the performance of products in the market
- Establish new product metrics and optimize and monitor existing product metrics (ex. Quality, Performance, Adoption, Utilization)
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards based on stakeholder needs
- Initiates user research to collect data and recommend enhancements to existing product portfolio
- Analyze user behavior across multiple market segments, adoption and utilization rates, and other metrics to identify trends and opportunities
- Gather and interpret user feedback across market segments, translating into actionable insights and recommending product enhancement ideas
- Facilitate collaboration with other product teams and internal stakeholders to improve products through continuous data‑driven improvements
- Clearly document findings and recommendations for Product Manager and internal stakeholders
- Product SME
- Represent the product internally across Surescripts, with customers, and externally at industry events as needed
- Act as a liaison between internal/external stakeholders and partners
- Product Support & Go To Market Activities
- Lead Pilot and Early Adopter programs in collaboration with Account Management and Customer Success, including creating documentation, defining success criteria, gathering metrics, conducting data analysis, and transitioning to General Availability operationalization
- Develop and maintain product documentation for support teams and technical teams
- Educate internal stakeholders on product functionality, issues, updates, etc.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify, diagnose and address product‑related issues
- Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in related, progressive roles
- 3+ years of health information technology experience, e.g., EHRs, HIEs, Public Health or Health Care Providers plus 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst or Technical Customer Support
- Conversant in the product lifecycle (Ideate, Define, Build, Launch, Manage)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience assessing market and customer needs for information products and services
- Experience using reporting systems such as Tableau, Salesforce, Crystal Reports, etc., including writing SQL queries
- User‑Experience Design training or background
- Experience with industry standards such as NCPDP, HL7, FHIR
- Experience with Aha! for Product Management

BenefitsAt Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package, which may also include bonus, benefits, etc., and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $121,600 - $148,600 per year. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare (including infertility coverage), generous paid time off including paid childbirth and parental leave, mental health days, pet insurance, 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting.
