Job Summary

Lead CX/UX Research Consultant (AI‑Enabled Experiences) – hybrid in Minneapolis. The role is a strategic individual‑contributor responsible for leading customer and user experience research for AI‑enabled products within the Financial & Corporate Compliance (FCC) unit. The consultancy will guide product strategy, design and delivery, ensuring AI solutions are usable, trustworthy, explainable and meet user needs, regulatory expectations, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leaders in Product Management, UX Design and Engineering to define the long‑term vision and strategy for user experience research aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders and development heads to deliver data‑driven, world‑class experiences.
  • Work with Product Managers to understand goals at portfolio and product levels.
  • Lead the planning and execution of user research initiatives, employing a variety of generative and evaluative methods.
  • Plan and execute studies of varying complexity and methodology.
  • Partner with embedded UX design leads/teams to evaluate prototypes and solutions with customers.
  • Ensure product teams gain deep understanding of user needs, behaviors and motivations.
  • Drive the use of research findings and insights to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
  • Champion a culture of feedback and metrics to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Use AI‑assisted data analysis techniques to accelerate synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research data.
  • Apply AI‑supported persona development and segmentation to generate evidence‑based user archetypes.
  • Explore and use AI‑enabled journey mapping and experience modeling approaches to help teams navigate complex workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design and Data Science to evaluate and shape AI systems supporting research operations, customer intelligence and experience measurement.
  • Critically assess AI‑generated insights for bias, validity, explainability and alignment with user needs, regulatory constraints and ethical principles.
  • Advise stakeholders on when AI enhances research and when human‑led research is essential.
  • Maintain continuous, transparent communication of status and metrics with management and stakeholders.
  • Advocate and implement standard processes to ensure quality and consistency of work across teams.
  • Engage all cross‑functional team members in research and analysis.
  • Stay informed on the latest UX trends, technologies and best practices to provide thought leadership.
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of relevant research experience.
  • Significant experience working with senior clients, stakeholders and developers.
  • Experience driving large‑scale cultural change to improve business performance.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a Lean/Agile development environment.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Some experience in the Finance and Compliance domain (preferred).
  • Some experience with organizational change management (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree or higher preferred.
Compensation

USD  – ; base salary based on location and experience, eligible for bonus.
