Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead CX/UX Research Consultant (AI‑Enabled Experiences) to provide strategic level research leadership for AI‑enabled products within Financial & Corporate Compliance (FCC). The role is a strategic individual‑contributor responsible for ensuring customer and user experience insights directly inform product strategy, design, and delivery—particularly in areas where artificial intelligence plays a central role. The Lead CX/UX Research Consultant combines deep CX/UX research expertise with AI literacy, curiosity, and applied judgment.

Working in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design, this role helps teams deliver AI‑driven solutions that are usable, trustworthy, explainable, and aligned with real user needs, regulatory expectations, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leaders in Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering to define the long‑term vision and strategy for UX research, aligning it with business objectives.
  • Provide close partnership for senior business stakeholders and development heads to deliver world‑class experiences through data‑driven decision making.
  • Partner with Product Managers to understand business goals and objectives at the portfolio and product level.
  • Lead planning and execution of user research initiatives, employing generative and evaluative research methods.
  • Plan and execute generative and evaluative studies of various complexities and methodologies.
  • Partner with embedded UX design leads/teams to evaluate prototypes and solutions with customers.
  • Ensure product teams gain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Ensure that product teams use research findings, data, and insights to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
  • Drive a culture of feedback and metrics to continually improve the user experience.
  • Use AI‑assisted data analysis techniques to accelerate synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research data.
  • Apply AI‑supported persona development and segmentation approaches to generate and evolve evidence‑based user archetypes.
  • Contribute to the exploration and use of AI‑enabled journey mapping and experience modeling approaches.
  • Critically assess AI‑generated insights for bias, validity, explainability, and alignment with user needs, regulatory constraints, and ethical design principles.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on where AI meaningfully enhances research and decision‑making—and where human‑led research remains essential.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of user experience goals.
  • Advocate for, and actively implement, standard processes to ensure quality and consistency of work.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in user experience research.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging UX trends and innovations.
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of UX goals.
  • Maintain regular, transparent communication of status and metrics to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 10 years of relevant research experience.
  • Significant experience working with senior clients, stakeholders, and developers.
  • Experience affecting large culture change that drives business performance.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a Lean/Agile development environment.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Some experience in Finance and Compliance domain knowledge.
  • Some experience working with organizational change management.
Education

Bachelor’s degree or university degree;
Master’s degree a plus.

Compensation

$ - $ USD (location based). Eligible for bonus. Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, and hiring location.
