Cloud Security Engineer; GCP

Opportunity available for a Cloud Security Engineer to support enterprise cloud security initiatives by identifying, remediating, and preventing security risks across Google Cloud Platform (GCP),
Azure
, and AWS environments. This role will focus on reducing cloud risk through infrastructure remediation, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with GCP
, Terraform, cloud networking, and automation, along with the ability to drive security improvements across large-scale cloud environments. You will work closely with cloud engineering, infrastructure, Dev Ops, and security teams to resolve critical vulnerabilities, improve cloud security posture, and implement scalable remediation solutions.

• Lead remediation efforts for critical cloud security findings across GCP, Azure, and AWS environments.
• Develop and implement scalable remediation solutions using Terraform, scripting, and automation.
• Partner with infrastructure, Dev Ops, and engineering teams to coordinate remediation activities and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive security improvements by identifying root causes and implementing long-term preventative solutions.
• Coordinate cloud secrets rotation and work with application teams to resolve credential and access management issues.
• Validate remediation efforts through testing, monitoring, and security verification processes.
• Review cloud architecture and infrastructure to identify security risks and recommend improvements.
• Support infrastructure-as-code best practices and secure cloud deployment processes.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to improve cloud governance, compliance, and operational security.
• Document remediation activities, technical solutions, and security recommendations.

• 5+ years of Cloud Engineering or Cloud Security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working in enterprise cloud environments supporting infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and staying current on cloud technologies and security best practices.

• 5+ years developing automation scripts and pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 3+ years of production experience writing and maintaining Terraform in large enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure including networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, and SDN.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise cloud infrastructure and implementing scalable remediation solutions.
