Position Summary

SPS Commerce is looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage technical projects across a range of complexities. The role combines servant‑leadership for one or more Scrum teams with project management responsibilities, enabling teams to deliver high‑value outcomes iteratively and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

• Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach team members on Agile best practices and foster continuous improvement.
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring well‑groomed backlogs and clear sprint goals.
• Manage technical projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
• Track and report on key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team health), leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude to streamline reporting and generate insights.
• Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Support Agile transformation efforts and contribute to scaling Agile practices across the organization.

• Hands‑on experience with Workday or Oracle (ERP/HCM platforms).
• Demonstrated AI‑forward mindset, practical experience using tools like Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar generative AI tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and project management fundamentals.
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust within teams.
• Strong organizational awareness and ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Adaptability in navigating ambiguity and change.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
• Proven experience managing technical projects in an Agile environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or Rally.

This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in‑office presence required at our Minneapolis office.

$86,600 to $134,200.
