Sr. Power BI Developer and Analyst Job Minneapolis area,Minnesota USA,IT/Tech

PowerBI Report Development, including modeling, performance optimization techniques, visualization design, Power Query and DAX. Experience with Azure SQL Database. SQL skills with expertise in windowed functions and performance tuning. Analytics skills – working with stakeholders gathering requirements.

Exceptional Azure SQL skills
Expertise in Windowed functions
Performance tuning
Direct experience building and troubleshooting complex views and stored procedures
Understanding of the difference between CTEs, temp tables, variable tables and appropriate usage
Creation of SQL tables and knowledge of indexing practices
Experience in a Data warehouse environment leveraging type 2 SLD
Advanced knowledge of Power BI
Data modeling techniques
Report performance optimization best practices
Visualization design
Power Query
DAX
Extensive experience working in the Power BI service
Administration of Power BI work spaces and deployment pipelines (dev → test → prod) and associated apps
Understanding of Power BI Deployment pipelines
Experience with Power BI GIT workspace integration
Communication skills – will need to work directly with business and IT leadership
Managing relationships with stakeholders in the business
Prompt follow‑up with support incidents
