Legal Tech Innovation Analyst
We are seeking a Legal Tech Innovation Analyst to join a law firm's Client & Innovation Office in Minneapolis, MN. This position is perfect for someone who is well-versed in legal processes, enjoys tackling technology challenges, and can assist legal professionals in maximizing the benefits of AI, contract analysis, document automation, and litigation management tools.
Responsibilities:
- Aid attorneys and legal teams in implementing legal technology in ongoing cases and internal operations
- Assist in designing, configuring, and launching projects utilizing platforms like Kira, Luminance, Opus 2, Legora, Harvey, or similar tools
- Develop user-friendly resources like quick guides, FAQs, checklists, screenshots, and workflow documentation
- Offer training sessions, demos, and ongoing support for designated applications
- Monitor adoption rates, collect user feedback, identify challenges, and suggest enhancements to usage
- Collaborate with attorneys, IT, Innovation, Training, Knowledge, Research, vendors, and practice groups on tech-driven solutions
- Stay informed about legal tech trends, including agentic AI, contract analysis, collaboration tools, and case management platforms
Requirements:
- Understanding of law firm or legal department functions, including attorney work product, matter life cycles, and transaction or litigation processes
- Practical experience in legal tech support, systems implementation, project coordination, or workflow enhancement
- Ability to grasp new platforms swiftly and communicate tech concepts clearly to both legal and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with legal tech tools such as Kira, Luminance, Opus 2, Legora, Harvey, or similar applications
- Experience with GenAI prompting, no-code/low-code workflows, or AI-based legal process support
- Excellent listening, communication, customer service, organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and reporting tools; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
- Ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and professionalism
- Preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field
