About This Position

The Programmer Analyst will develop and support North Memorial Health Care (NMHC) applications and interfaces. The role involves planning, development, testing, and implementation of application development and vendor integrations, including data integration components. Collaborating with third‑party vendors, Database Administrators, and IT Application, Infrastructure, and Customer Support staff, the analyst designs database structures, provides application support, and enhances integration platforms in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

The position requires troubleshooting complex systems, managing file transfers and interfaces, and partnering across teams to ensure reliable data flow.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain NMHC applications and interfaces.
  • Participate in all phases of application development: planning, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Collaborate with third‑party vendors for system integrations.
  • Work with Database Administrators to design database tables for reporting, interface, and automation needs.
  • Provide application support alongside IT Application, Infrastructure, and Customer Support staff.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems and ensure data flows reliably across platforms.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of development experience in a large organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Critical thinking, flexibility, creativity, and initiative to complete tasks.
  • Experience with database structures, reporting techniques, and tools.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Demonstrated customer service methodology and accountability.
  • Responsibility for personal and professional education.
  • Adaptability to interruptions, changes, disorder, or repetition.
Education
  • BS or BA degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related business degree; or equivalent certified/associate degree with at least 3 years of related application experience.
