10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Transformation, Automation & AI for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This role serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping to drive business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong business analysis, process optimization, and technology solutioning capabilities to identify opportunities, define future-state capabilities, and develop actionable recommendations. This position requires the ability to assess technical feasibility and collaborate across various teams, but does not involve hands-on software development or coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support strategic initiatives and idea vetting by completing required documentation and conducting analysis for business processes
- Plan and facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed information
- Perform end-to-end business process analysis to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Define and recommend future-state process, operating model, capability, and technology enhancements
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support recommendations and prioritization decisions
- Provide high-level technical feasibility assessments, including constraints, dependencies, and integration impacts
- Create high-level solution designs and option analyses (e.g., build vs buy)
- Develop clear visuals to represent business and solution context, such as process flows, capability maps, and integration diagrams
- Translate complex topics into executive-ready narratives, diagrams, and recommendations
- Drive end-to-end automation project support, from opportunity identification through execution support
- Assess and identify opportunities to leverage AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies
- Stay informed on the latest developments in AI, automation, and process technologies
Primary Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Solution Analysis, Process Improvement, Automation, or a related role
- Demonstrated ability to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define future-state strategies
- Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder validation experience
- Experience creating business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and value-based recommendations
- Strong visual modeling skills (capability mapping, process modeling, customer journeys, etc)
- Understanding of foundational architectural concepts, including APIs, integrations, and SaaS platforms
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading stakeholder interviews
- 4+ years of experience identifying and evaluating use cases for automation, intelligent automation, or analytics
- Experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or PEGA
- Understanding of OCR, ICR, document intelligence, and workflow automation capabilities
- Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, Copilot technologies, and NLP solutions
- Ability to work with large cross-functional teams and align diverse stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Business Architect, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certification
- Proven experience implementing OCR, NLP, AI, ML, or analytics solutions for business use cases
- Experience in Insurance (Life, Term, Disability Income, and/or Annuity domains)
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives in financial services or insurance operations
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, SaaS implementations, or enterprise automation platforms
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, and Power BI
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or comparable low-code platforms
